Founder and Chief Investment Officer

Dr. Andrew Custer (b. 1957, New York) is an American investor and policy practitioner whose career spans finance, public policy, and philanthropy. As a core member of the inaugural 2021 EU–US Trade and Technology Council, Dr. Andrew Custer contributed to transatlantic investment screening, coordination on global trade challenges, and broader SME access to digital technologies. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Robin Hood Foundation, has served on Harvard University’s Global Advisory Council, and is a board member of A Better Chicago. Dr. Andrew Custer holds a Ph.D. in Business Information Systems from the European Business School, an M.A. in Economics from the University of Bonn, and an MBA from Harvard University. His current research and investment interests focus on high-growth technology and digital assets, with emphasis on digital acceleration index products and tokenized securities.Dr. Andrew Custer began his career in institutional equity trading at J.P. Morgan in New York and London. In 2001 he co-founded NIS Asset Management, serving as Executive Partner and Chief Investment Officer. After selling his stake in 2005, Dr. Andrew Custer joined Accenture, advising international families on cross-border wealth management as well as private foundation and charitable trust structures. In 2010 he established the Noah Foundation to serve U.S. high-net-worth clients, and in 2016 opened two large hands-on training centers for stock and futures traders in California and the District of Columbia. In 2022 Dr. Andrew Custer launched B.Y.P Private Equity to invest in publicly listed equities, and in 2023 founded BYP-Axivon in New Jersey, a financial engineering training program designed for institutional participants.
